Volunteer Companion for Ron – Share a Love of Sport and Conversation

Do you enjoy talking sport, especially the West Coast Eagles? Do you have an hour a week to brighten someone's day? Brightwater Inglewood is looking for a friendly volunteer to spend time with Ron, who enjoys chatting about football, sport and life. A love of music would also be a bonus, as Ron enjoys listening to and talking about music.

Your visits could include:

• Sharing a friendly conversation over a cup of tea.
• Talking about the latest West Coast Eagles news and other sporting events.
• Listening to music together or reminiscing about favourite songs.
• Accompanying Ron on a stroll around the home by pushing his wheelchair.

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys building genuine connections with older people.
• Is a good listener and enjoys conversation.
• Is comfortable pushing a wheelchair.
• Can commit to a regular weekly morning visit of around one hour, helping to build a meaningful long-term friendship.

By spending just one hour each week with Ron, you'll make a genuine difference to his wellbeing while sharing stories, laughter and a love of sport.
