Founded by Juliette Wright OAM, founder of GIVIT, Australia's leading donation management platform, Recovere builds on more than 16 years of experience creating innovative, technology-driven solutions that connect communities with exactly what they need.
Following a successful staged launch, Recovere is now strengthening its volunteer Board as it enters its next phase of growth.
We are seeking experienced leaders who want to contribute their governance expertise to an organisation with global aspirations and measurable social impact.
We are seeking expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Marketing and Media
• Accounting and Finance
• Governance and Risk
• Disaster Recovery, Humanitarian Response or International Development
Key responsibilities
As a Director, you will: • Contribute to the strategic direction of Recovere. • Provide governance oversight and support organisational growth. • Review Board papers and participate in informed decision-making. • Monitor organisational performance, financial sustainability and risk. • Act as an ambassador for Recovere and its mission. • Uphold the highest standards of governance, integrity and accountability.
Skills and experience We are particularly interested in applicants who have: • Existing Board or Committee experience. • Senior executive leadership experience. • Strong strategic thinking and sound judgement. • Experience in governance, finance, marketing, risk management or humanitarian services. • A collaborative leadership style and commitment to ethical decision-making.
Experience serving on the Boards of charities, government organisations, private companies or publicly listed organisations will be highly regarded.
