Volunteer Cook

The Volunteer Cook plays an important role in supporting Kingston Neighbourhood House by preparing healthy, nutritious, and affordable meals for community members. Working alongside staff and volunteers, the Volunteer Cook assists with meal planning, food preparation, safe food handling, kitchen cleanliness, and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment. The role helps reduce social isolation by bringing people together through shared meals while promoting community connection, wellbeing, and food security. All duties are undertaken in accordance with food safety requirements and KNH policies and procedures.
