Help open doors that change children’s lives.
After years of building relationships, contributing to your community and gaining valuable life experience, here’s an opportunity to use those skills to make a lasting difference.
Every year, thousands of children across Australia undergo surgery, cancer treatment and other serious medical procedures. At a time when they should be thinking about superheroes, adventures and imagination, they’re instead faced with hospital gowns, needles and medical equipment.
Supertee was created to change that.
Our specially designed medical garments fit over IV lines, chemotherapy ports and monitoring equipment while transforming into superhero costumes, helping children feel brave, comfortable and like kids again during treatment.
Today, Supertee supports children in more than 100 hospitals across Australia, but to reach even more children, we need passionate people to help us build new partnerships within the community.
About the Role
As a Community Partnerships Ambassador, you’ll become a valued representative of Supertee.
Using your life experience, local knowledge and community connections, you’ll help introduce Supertee to businesses, community groups and organisations that may be interested in supporting our mission.
Your role isn’t about asking people for money.
It’s about starting conversations, opening doors and connecting good people with a cause that genuinely changes children’s lives.
We’ll provide all the information, resources and ongoing support you need.
What You’ll Be Doing
You may:
• Introduce Supertee to local businesses.
• Connect us with Rotary, Lions, Probus and other community organisations.
• Arrange introductions to schools, sporting clubs, churches or community groups.
• Attend local networking or community events on behalf of Supertee.
• Identify opportunities for corporate partnerships, fundraising events or community support.
• Help grow awareness of Supertee within your local area.
Even one introduction could lead to a partnership that helps hundreds or even thousands of children in hospital.
About You
This opportunity would suit someone who:
• Enjoys meeting people and building relationships.
• Is well connected within their local community or enjoys expanding their network.
• Has good communication skills.
• Wants to stay active, engaged and make a meaningful contribution.
• Believes every child deserves comfort, dignity and imagination during hospital treatment.
No fundraising or sales experience is necessary. If you enjoy connecting people and supporting worthwhile causes, we’d love to hear from you.
Why Volunteer With Supertee?
You’ll become part of a passionate and welcoming team dedicated to improving the hospital experience for children across Australia.
This role offers the opportunity to:
• Use your experience and community connections for a meaningful purpose.
• Meet like-minded people who enjoy giving back.
• Help build partnerships that create lasting impact.
• Know that your conversations and introductions are helping children during some of the toughest days of their lives.
At Supertee, we believe everyone has something valuable to contribute. Your experience, relationships and willingness to help could be exactly what enables the next child to receive a Supertee.
If you’re looking for a flexible volunteer opportunity where your time and life experience can genuinely change lives, we’d love to hear from you.
