About the Role

The position of Volunteer System Technician will support the IT division and work closely with the IT System Technician.

Key Tasks of the Position

– Assist with the triaging of tickets. – Contributes to documenting incident and problem resolutions. – Assists with the maintenance of IT asset register. – Assists with the onboarding and offboarding of staff and volunteers accounts. – Contributes to the maintenance of documentation of all systems. – Seeks guidance, where required, to comply with resource constraints, quality standards, regulatory compliance to meet business and customer requirements. – Assists with project work. – Assists with the maintenance, monitoring and security of computer hardware and software systems to meet the organisation's current and future requirements.

About you

– Working toward tertiary qualifications and\or industry certifications. – Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the delivery of IT services. – Sound verbal and written communication with demonstrated ability to write clearly and succinctly. – A positive, proactive and 'service-orientated' approach to IT service delivery. – Customer service skills. – Organization and planning skills. – Problem solving and root cause identification skills. – Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others. – Analytic and decision-making abilities.
