Volunteer Committee/Board Treasurer Role for Eczema Association Australasia (EAA): EAA’s Head Office is in Cleveland Queensland but operates across Australia and New Zealand to support, provide education and resources for eczema sufferers, carers and the wider community. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Treasurer – Key Responsibilities • Maintain oversight of the association's financial health, records, and cash flow. • Present clear and accurate financial reports to the Committee/Board at monthly meetings. • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget. • Monitor income and expenditure against budget and identify financial risks or concerns. • Provide financial advice to the Committee/Board on proposed projects, contracts, and strategic decisions. • Ensure compliance with all financial, taxation, audit, insurance, and statutory obligations. • Oversee appropriate financial controls, including authorisation and approval processes. • Coordinate the preparation of annual financial statements, audits, and AGM financial reporting. • Work collaboratively with the CEO, bookkeeper, auditor, Secretary, and Committee to support sound financial governance. • Promote transparency, accountability, and compliance in all financial matters.
