About the Role We're looking for a creative and reliable Volunteer Social Media Content Manager to help grow The Zazi Project's online presence. If you're passionate about storytelling, social media, and creating meaningful content that inspires communities, we'd love to hear from you. In this role, you'll be responsible for editing and publishing engaging content across our social media platforms while ensuring our online presence remains active, consistent, and aligned with our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Design simple graphics and carousel posts using Canva or similar software.
- Schedule and publish content consistently across all social media platforms.
- Write engaging captions that reflect The Zazi Project's voice and mission.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar and posting schedule.
- Repurpose event footage, interviews and community stories into engaging social content.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative campaign ideas.
- Monitor social media trends and suggest new content opportunities.
- Respond to basic comments and messages where required. We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience editing short-form video content (CapCut, Tik-tok, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar).
- Has a strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Has excellent written communication skills.
- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently.
- Has a creative eye for visual storytelling.
- Is passionate about youth empowerment, diversity and community impact.
- Can commit to posting consistently each week.
