School Volunteers Required - Colac

Make a Lasting Difference in a Young Person’s Life
Do you have 1–2 hours a week to spare during school hours? You could help primary school students at risk of disengaging from their education in a learning support role. Schools need a variety of support including in and out of the classroom, library, gardening and activity clubs at lunchtimes e.g. knitting, lego building, art, sports.
No teaching experience is necessary—just a genuine interest in helping children achieve their best. Volunteers should be able to commit at least one hour per week for 6+ months. This opportunity is ideal for those with the time and availability to make a meaningful, long-term difference. We’re looking for grounded, mature individuals who are proficient in English, patient, compassionate, and willing to be a steady presence for students in need.
Many of our volunteers describe the experience as deeply rewarding. Not only are you helping a student thrive, but you’re also forming connections that can have a lasting impact, both for the student and for yourself. If you have a nurturing nature and a heart for helping young people, we’d love to hear from you.
