Mini Bus Driver

This is a rewarding position driving clients to medical appointments in the Association's vehicles from the Bribie area to Caboolture-Redcliffe and Brisbane. Comprehensive training is provided to each destination including where to park etc. Meal allowance available. Drivers are only expected to provide minor assistance for passengers entering/exiting the vehicles. The majority of vehicles are automatic Commuter buses or people movers; neither require special licences. Skills required: Outgoing,friendly and patient. Good communication skills, clean driving history, knowledge of Brisbane (but training is provided). Okay with early morning starts. Volunteer characteristics: Caring, friendly, mature, physically fit, patient (to handle traffic congestion). Long term commitment to our Community. Skills gained: The satisfaction of being able to assist our older members of the community or Younger persons with a Disability.
