Every dollar raised supports Kinds of Happiness (KOH), a charity dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth in regional and rural Australia through mentoring, farming programs, and skills development. About the Role
We are looking for creative Volunteer Social Media Graphic Designers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of graphic design work for social media platforms and a good understanding of branding and marketing principles. This is a flexible, remote volunteer opportunity, requiring approximately 3 to 4 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging graphics for social media posts, ads, and promotions.
- Design and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all social media channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and social media platform features.
- Ensure all graphics are optimised for each platform and adhere to brand guidelines.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Proficient in graphic design software such as Canva.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
- Experience creating graphics for social media platforms.
- Knowledge of social media best practices and trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Desirable
- Prior experience in a similar volunteer or design role.
- Experience working in the not-for-profit sector.
- Experience with event marketing.
