Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc. (LMA) is a registered charity and not-for-profit bringing communities together through family-focused fundraisers, markets, and events across Victoria. Proceeds from our events support Kinds of Happiness (KOH), a charity helping disadvantaged youth in regional and rural Australia through mentoring, farming programs, and skills development.

We are looking for a reliable volunteer Admin Assistants to help our small but busy team stay organised and on track — all from home, on hours that suit you.

About the role

As our Volunteer Admin Assistant, you will play a key part in keeping LMA's day-to-day operations running smoothly. Working remotely and on hours that suit you, you will support our small team with general administration, help identify and prepare documentation for grant and sponsorship opportunities, maintain our records and trackers, and assist with communication between team members and volunteers. It is a flexible, behind-the-scenes role that is well suited to someone who is organised, dependable, and enjoys keeping things ticking along.

What you will be doing

  • Supporting day-to-day admin tasks
  • Supporting the identification of grant and sponsorship opportunities
  • Assisting with the preparation of supporting documentation for applications as required
  • Helping maintain records, trackers, and shared files
  • Assisting with communications between team members and volunteers
  • Jumping in where needed to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes

Skills & experience required

Essential

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Available to attend training and weekly meetings
  • Reliable and comfortable working independently
  • Clear, warm, and professional written communication skills
  • Confident using online tools such as Google Workspace, email, or similar platforms

Desirable

  • Previous experience in administration, coordination, or a similar support role
  • Experience working or volunteering within the not-for-profit or charity sector
  • Familiarity with grant or sponsorship application processes
  • Experience maintaining trackers, records, or shared filing systems
