As Pink Cross Foundation Australia enters an exciting phase of national growth, we are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to help establish a sustainable funding model that will directly support the expansion of our survivor-focused programs across Australia.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Commercial Lead, the Fundraising & Partnerships Specialist will serve as a trusted strategic advisor on fundraising, philanthropy and revenue diversification, helping shape the organisation's long-term financial future.
Working closely with the Executive Director and leadership team, you will develop and implement fundraising initiatives that diversify revenue, strengthen donor engagement and create sustainable funding streams to support the organisation's mission.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional who wants to use their expertise to help build a growing national charity from the ground up.
Working Arrangements
- Remote (Australia-wide)
- Flexible volunteer position
- Approximately 5–10 hours per week (flexible by agreement)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Identify and pursue grant opportunities from government, philanthropic trusts and foundations.
- Research, cultivate and steward major donor relationships.
- Develop corporate sponsorship and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Establish and grow recurring giving, workplace giving and individual donor programs.
- Prepare high-quality funding submissions, grant applications and donor proposals.
- Identify innovative revenue opportunities that support long-term organisational sustainability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, philanthropic organisations and key stakeholders.
- Monitor fundraising performance and provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to the Commercial Lead.
- Work collaboratively with the Executive Director and leadership team to achieve fundraising objectives.
Essential Skills & Experience
Applicants must demonstrate:
- A minimum of five (5) years' proven fundraising experience within the charity, not-for-profit or philanthropic sector.
- A demonstrated track record of successfully securing grants, major gifts, corporate sponsorships and/or philanthropic funding.
- Demonstrated success in achieving fundraising outcomes and developing sustainable revenue streams.
- Exceptional written communication and proposal writing skills.
- Excellent networking, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- The ability to work independently, proactively and collaboratively within a volunteer leadership team.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity and discretion.
- A genuine passion for helping build sustainable funding for an organisation creating meaningful social impact.
