About the Role
We are looking for a Volunteer Content Creator to help us bring our story to life through short-form video content across our social media and website.
This role would suit someone who enjoys creating reels or short-form videos and is also happy to occasionally get in front of the camera to represent Op for Change. You might be showcasing new arrivals, filming behind-the-scenes moments, styling outfits, interviewing volunteers, highlighting charity collaborations, or creating light-hearted content that helps people connect with who we are and what we do.
You do not need to be a professional photographer or videographer. We are looking for someone creative, reliable and confident with social media trends, storytelling and simple video editing.
As our Content Creator you will:
- Create and editi short-form video content for social media.
- Film in-store content, including outfits, new arrivals, displays, events and behind-the-scenes moments
- Appear on camera as a friendly face for Op for Change where suitable
- Help develop video ideas that reflect our personality, values and community impact
- Capture content for campaigns, charity partnerships, website drops, events and special projects
- Write simple captions or suggested text overlays where needed
- Work with the social media co-ordinator to plan upcoming content
- Help us increase awareness, engagement and online sales through creative storytelling
Skills and Qualities We Are Looking For
We would love to hear from someone who is:
- Confident creating reels and short-form video content
- Comfortable appearing on camera and representing Op for Change in a warm, authentic way
- Creative, organised and able to work independently
- Interested in sustainable fashion, op shopping, styling, community or charity work
- Confident using a phone to film good-quality content
- Able to do basic video editing
- Aware of current social media trends and formats
- Friendly, reliable and aligned with Op for Change's values
Time Commitment
This is a flexible volunteer role. There are no fixed minimum hours, and we are happy to work around your availability.
Ideally, you would be able to visit the store regularly to capture content. Some planning, editing and posting preparation can be done remotely.
