Do you speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Khmer, Thai, Filipino/Tagalog, Hindi, Nepali, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, or another Asian language?
We are looking for friendly volunteers to visit older residents who feel more comfortable speaking their first language. By sharing conversation, culture and companionship, you can help a resident feel connected, understood and valued.
No previous volunteering experience is necessary. If you are friendly, reliable and enjoy connecting with people, we would love to hear from you.
As a volunteer, you will:
