Volunteer Visitor - Chat to a lovely lady with dementia in Templestowe

We're seeking a female volunteer to make regular visits to a lady living in aged care in Templestowe.

Our recipient lives with dementia and would benefit from some social connection from a friendly volunteer.

No experience needed - You just need to be kind, reliable and comfortable befriending someone experiencing the ups and downs that can accompany the ageing process. The role may be challenging, but it will make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Visits are flexible (typically 1-2 hours per week), and we ask for a commitment of at least 6 months.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) brings connection and companionship to older people experiencing social isolation. ACVVS is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus.
