As Secretary, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the governance and strategic direction of a high‑impact community organisation. You’ll support committee operations, maintain accurate records, coordinate communications, and contribute to decision‑making that shapes how we serve seniors, people with disability, and those experiencing social isolation.

Key Duties

  • Record and distribute accurate meeting minutes
  • Maintain governance documents, policies and compliance records
  • Coordinate committee communications and follow‑ups
  • Support strategic planning and organisational development
  • Assist with reporting, risk awareness and continuous improvement
  • Contribute thoughtful input to decisions affecting volunteers and guests

Skills & Experience

  • Strategic and analytical thinker
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable with administration, structure and systems
  • Community‑minded and willing to challenge assumptions
  • Reliable, organised and able to work independently
  • Governance or committee experience helpful but not essential

Organisation Background

We are a vibrant, volunteer‑powered movement providing free trishaw rides that reconnect seniors and people with disability to community, nature and joy. With hundreds of rides delivered each month, we reduce social isolation and create meaningful moments for people aged from early childhood to 108 years old.
