Volunteer Activity Assistant - Reminiscence & Conversation focus

At our Battery Point Day Club, we provide a warm and welcoming respite space for people living with dementia and their families. Our Program seeks to bring meaningful connections and engagement to our clients in a vibrant, supportive community. Join us at our Day Club, where we aim for every day to be filled with warmth, laughter, and connection.

If you’re someone who enjoys helping others to reminisce and share stories; and/or likes having conversations about current events and travel, we would love to chat further with you. Other key qualities are that you are positive, patient, and have a big heart for connecting with others. Join us on a Wednesday, either weekly or fortnightly, flexible hours between 9.30am - 2.30pm, at our Day Club in Battery Point.

Staffed by Dementia Australia team members and dedicated volunteers, our centre delivers person-centred support, engaging members in meaningful activities based on their individual interests and needs.
