Love cycling? Want to spend a great day outdoors while making a real difference?
We're looking for enthusiastic Bike Marshals (18+) to join our team for three inspiring walk/run fundraising events across Brisbane.
This is the perfect volunteer role if you enjoy riding, meeting people and being part of a fun, energetic event atmosphere. You'll be helping hundreds of participants safely navigate the course while they raise vital funds for cancer research, support services and patient care.
As a Bike Marshal, you'll ride sections of the route, help guide participants in the right direction, provide encouragement along the way and be one of the friendly faces that helps make the event a success.
What you'll be doing
- Riding along designated sections of the course
- Guiding walkers and runners along the route
- Encouraging participants as they complete their challenge
- Communicating any issues or route concerns to event staff
- Helping create a safe, fun and positive event experience for everyone

No special skills required!
If you're confident riding a bike, have your own bicycle and helmet, and enjoy helping people, we'd love to hear from you. No previous Bike Marshal experience is necessary.
