Podcast Production Volunteer (Descript)
Help shape a podcast that explores transport, communities and creating places where everyone has more transport choice.
Get Around Caboolture is looking for someone who enjoys audio production and would like to become our Descript expert.
Rather than simply editing audio, you'll help create a polished listening experience while learning the features and workflows of one of the world's leading podcast editing platforms.
This role is flexible and can be shaped around your interests.
Possible projects include
- Editing podcast episodes in Descript.
- Learning and documenting Descript's features for audio podcasts.
- Preparing episodes for Spotify and other podcast platforms.
- Adding intros, outros, episode hooks and listener engagement segments.
- Improving audio quality, pacing and consistency.
- Developing production workflows that future volunteers can easily follow.
- Creating simple user guides so other volunteers can learn Descript.
