Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney (H2HS) is an independent Lifeline member within Lifeline Australia’s national network. With over 1,400 skilled people, 86% of whom are volunteers, the organisation provides a national and local crisis support and suicide prevention services, including Lifeline’s 24/7 crisis line 13 11 14, counselling and community programs.

We are seeking a digital marketing coordinator to volunteer part-time (one day/week) as part of our team in the Gordon office. This is an opportunity to help lead an exciting new initiative into the community.

Mates in Mind, a Lifeline H2HS initiative, is a free, community-based mental health and peer support program designed for local sporting clubs.

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the successful candidate will take the lead and work with a number of Managers on an exciting new initiative and project.

The volunteer role would include:

• Creation of branded digital assets for use across all marketing / web / digital / social media and physical channels

• Maintain a consistent brand experience across all digital and physical platforms

• Analyse and report on the effectiveness of digital campaigns and platforms

• Identify opportunities and new channels to help grow fundraising and sponsorship revenue

• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and engagement.

To be successful in this role the candidate will:

• Be highly organised with a passion for digital marketing

• Have a working knowledge of (most/all) social media platforms

• Highly competent in MS Office / WordPress / Canva / Adobe Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

• Be knowledgeable on best practices and trends across social media
