Reading Out of Poverty

Logo for Reading Out of Poverty

ROOP (Reading out of Poverty) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to transforming children’s lives through the power of literacy. We work with community-focused organisations to deliver free literacy packs and pop-up libraries to children aged 0–5 from disadvantaged backgrounds, supporting early learning, parent engagement, and lifelong opportunity.

We are hosting a Corporate Volunteer Session on site and require a professional photographer to take some images for use on social media and to supply to the Corporate. The session will focus on creating Literacy Packs that will be delivered to disadvantaged children enabling them to have book in their home that they can commence reading from birth.

You will be required for 1-1.5 hours to take some professional images of a Corporate Volunteer event in Melbourne at Reading out of Poverty (ROOP) on Wednesday 22nd July between 09.30-12.30.
