Volunteer President - Are you a natural leader with a passion for Community?

The Mooloolah Valey Community Association is looking for a friendly, welcoming person to step into the role of President at the AGM in September. We host regular inclusive community events and run a bustling local Op Shop.

You will lead a supportive 5+ member management committee and guide an enthusiastic team of 40 volunteers. If you enjoy bringing people together and want to make a real difference right here in the Valley, we would love to hear from you!

What You Will Do · Be the friendly face and primary spokesperson for our Association. · Guide the team by providing calm direction for all activities. · Chair our monthly meetings to keep everyone connected and inspired. · Support our volunteers by acknowledging and encouraging the hard-working team who keep our Centre running.

What We Are Looking For · A warm, approachable personality who enjoys meeting and working with people. · Great listening skills and a collaborative, down-to-earth approach. · Ability to run meetings in an organised yet relaxed manner. · A genuine heart for the Mooloolah Valley Community.

Commitment and Benefits · Time: around 4 to 6 hours a week (including monthly meetings and our community events). · Location: Mooloolah Valley Community Centre in Bray St. · The reward: Being part of a voluntary organisation where you will make new friends, work alongside like-minded people, and truly shape the social heartbeat of our local area.
