Start your scouting adventure here and now by volunteering to work in the Kurilpa Scout Group team and take responsibility for the activities of our wonderful young people.
Section leaders and assistant leaders coordinate the delivery of the scouting youth program for one of the following sections
- Joeys 5 - 8, where the focus is on fun, discovery and friendship while learning the basics of scouting
- Cubs 8 - 11, where young people begin exercising leadership and are involved in more outdoor and adventurous activities
- Scouts 11 - 15, where youth are recognised for their outdoor skills, leadership and longer adventures
- Venturers 15 - 17, where there is great emphasis on personal growth & life-changing experiences
- Rovers 18 - 25, who seize new opportunities, gain independence, and expect the unexpected.
We are looking for adults with patience and kindness to help grow a strong, supportive group that is 100 % run by volunteers.
These roles are supported by a strong Group Executive Committee and a team of Assistant Leaders and supportive parent volunteers.
