The Kurilpa Scout Group has over 80 youth members and 30 adult members. Membership records are maintained in the Scouting Membership System, which is quite user friendly.
In this role you are required to:
- respond to questions from parents interested in their children joining scouts
- approve membership requests on the advice of the Group Leader and youth leaders
- Issue membership payment requests once every three months
- maintain the status of membership system
- remove members from the system when they resign.
You will be a valued member of the Scout Group Committee, supporting the Group Leader and other youth leaders.
The role would suitable people who:
- believe in the importance of developing our young people
- are personally well organised and don't mind occasionally solving problems
- can communicate effectively by email
- have a basic understanding of finance.
