One Ride Bike Mechanics Required - Every pedal counts!
Breakthrough T1D seeks the voluntary assistance of six bike (cycling) mechanics to support our fundraising cycling event, the One Ride. You will be a part of our One Ride Journey, part of our One Ride family, and there truly is no other event quite like it!
Duties, timings and location will include

Friday 20 November, Barossa Valley Resort - 12pm - 6pm
Assembling of bikes that have travelled in from interstate in bike boxes / bags and liaise with participants who are fundraising for Breakthrough T1D

Saturday 21 November, Barossa Valley, 7am - 5pm
Event day support by way of travel on one of five sector buses in an 80km loop (20km allotments + Mengler Hill section) + with closure of sectors dis-assembly of bikes and re-packing into bike boxes/bags for travel home with ride participant
In recognition of your support, you will receive
- An event t-Shirt X 2 (to wear across your shifts) and hi vis vest
- Accommodation at the Barossa Valley Resort on Friday 20 November including buffet dinner, complimentary breakfast + lunch on 21 November
What do we need from you
- Someone who is prepared to volunteer their time from noon Friday 20 November until 5pm on Saturday 21 November
- Skilled in bike assembly and dis-assembly, showing care for bikes
- Someone great with people so as to liaise with ride participants with ease
- Own tools to support your role, noting some tools will be available on site + 3 bike mounts
