Volunteer Opportunity: Weekly Quiz Host (Online) Do you love trivia, meeting new people, and bringing a bit of fun into the week? We’re looking for a new Volunteer Quiz Master to host our much loved Weekly Online Quiz for Proveda’s Belong Club. Our long standing quiz host is no longer available, and we’re hoping someone in our community might like to step in and keep the tradition alive.
About the Weekly Quiz The Weekly Quiz is a fun, relaxed, and interactive online event where participants test their knowledge, enjoy a laugh, and connect with others. The group is warm, welcoming, and always up for a good time.
When: Every Wednesday Time: 11:00am–11:30am Where: Online via Zoom
What You’ll Do As our Quiz Master, you will: • Create a fresh quiz each week (PowerPoint format is ideal). • Host the session live on Zoom. • Read out the questions and reveal the answers at the end. • Help create a light, friendly, and enjoyable atmosphere.
Participants mark their own answers and share scores at the end using the honour system.
Helpful tip: AI tools (like Copilot or other quiz generators) can be an excellent way to help you brainstorm questions or build a full quiz quickly. Just remember to double check the facts before presenting.
Who This Role Suits This volunteer opportunity is perfect for someone who: • Enjoys trivia, and general knowledge. • Is comfortable speaking to a friendly online group. • Likes being creative and putting together engaging content. • Wants to bring joy to others and contribute to a positive community space.
Time Commitment • Approximately 1–2 hours per week, including creating the quiz. • Plus the 30 minute quiz session every Wednesday at 11am.
