And just like our chefs, our volunteers are the secret ingredient that makes the magic happen. 💫

For more than 30 years, this iconic event has helped Starlight create smiles, laughter and moments of joy for sick kids across Australia. Now it's your turn to join the fun!

As a volunteer, you'll be right in the heart of the excitement, helping to create an incredible experience for guests while supporting a cause that changes lives. You'll meet amazing people, soak up the electric atmosphere and go home knowing you've been part of something truly meaningful.

Location: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre

Dress: All black comfortable clothing, closed toe comfortable shoes - runners are perfectly fine!

Dinner + Parking Voucher OR Uber Voucher to get home safely provided

Volunteer Tasks

Get ready to be part of the magic of being a Starlight volunteer! Here’s how you’ll help spread joy:

• Welcome guests to the event and support pre-event activities 

• Assist with selling raffle tickets to guests

• Assist with the live auction

• Support the silent auction collection process

• Help with light pack down duties 

• Support the Starlight Events Team throughout the evening

Requirements to volunteer at this event

• All volunteers must be 18+ years of age
• Great communication skills
• We ask that all volunteers download the 'Shout Terminal' app and attend the event with a fully charged mobile phone which will be used to take payments for fundraising activities
• Be able to be on your feet for the duration of your shift (breaks provided)
• A positive attitude willingness to embrace the Starlight SHINE values
