Who? Canterbury Community Centre's Garden Care Service helps elderly residents maintain low-maintenance gardens for independent living, focusing on access and safety through teamwork with volunteers.

How? Friendly Garden Care workers and volunteers assist with weeding, mulching, pruning, and ensuring gardens are safe to access.

When? Volunteering happens on weekdays from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Where? Gardens are serviced in various suburbs across the Inner West and Canterbury Bankstown areas.

Who can/When can I volunteer? Reliable people interested in gardening are welcome to volunteer, committing to at least once a week, fortnight, or month. Transport to and from gardens are reimbursed after a number of sessions.
