Do you LOVE Footy and can spare just ONE HOUR per week to become a Volunteer Mate?

 Yes, just one hour a week can make a real difference.

We’re seeking a friendly, reliable volunteer to spend time one on one with a gentleman who lives at home and enjoys great conversation and shared interests.

✨ What you’ll do

• Enjoy relaxed chats about football and anything sport
• Play cards, board games or watch TV together
• Offer companionship, conversation, and connection

👤 This role would suit someone who is:

• Warm, patient, and a good listener
• Reliable and happy to commit a small amount of time weekly
• Interested in building a genuine friendship

No special skills or experience are required — just empathy, consistency, and a willingness to connect.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
