Administration Co-Ordinators - Plenty Valley FM

Plenty Valley FM is local a community radio station in Melbourne's northern suburbs, with a strong focus on community connections. Volunteers serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, help manage communications, assist with administrative tasks, and provide support predominately to Plenty Valley FM's Committee of Management, and other parts of the organisation as required.
Tasks of the admin volunteer team therefore include:
- Front of House Duties: Welcome visitors to the station in a friendly and professional manner, directing face to face and phone enquiries to the appropriate person or portfolio.
- Email and Correspondence Handling: Monitor and triage incoming messages, including reviewing and processing media releases by forwarding them to the appropriate recipients for action as required.
- Document Management: Supporting and maintaining recordkeeping of policies, procedures and work instructions using SharePoint
- Music Submission Processing: Provide all new music submissions received to the Program Review Committee and the Program Manager for consideration.
- Other Duties: Carry out additional, mainly ad-hoc, tasks as reasonably directed by the Committee of Management to support the station’s operations.
In performing the above, volunteers must maintain privacy and uphold strict confidentiality regarding all station information, communications, and personal data accessed during volunteer duties, in accordance with organisational policies and legal requirements.
