Volunteer Museum Assistant

Collection storage:  rehousing of objects, for example making the suitable boxes for objects, caring for objects, storeroom management, auditing tasks.   Customer Service:  greeting and welcoming visitors, sharing information, light duties in the museum.   Events Support:  for our “Walking Wednesdays” and Writers Group, and for booked tours that we deliver to various groups such as aged care, schools, social outings.   Exhibitions and Displays:  support with developing ideas, materials and research where appropriate.
