Join us at our new farm site!

We’re excited to open volunteer opportunities at our new farm site, offering the same rewarding experience you’ll find at Baguley Farm.

Located at 6 Junction Road, in Dingley Village, our farm program offers volunteers the opportunity to help support our food‑growing operations by assisting with a range of hands‑on tasks such as planting, weeding, harvesting, and general farm maintenance. No prior experience is needed just a willingness to get involved, work outdoors, and be part of a team helping to grow fresh produce for people in need.

This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy physical activity, being outside, and contributing directly to FareShare’s mission to fight hunger with nutritious, home‑grown food. All tools, guidance, and training are provided on site.

SecondBite is one of Australia’s largest food relief organisations and works with their FareShare kitchens and FareShare farms to rescue, grow, cook and share food with people in need.

Millions of kilograms of produce is harvested from our farm each year. This food is shared with people who need it most as fresh produce and pantry items, as well as being made into ready-to-eat meals in the FareShare kitchens.

FareShare is Australia’s largest charity kitchen and operates as part of SecondBite to transform rescued and donated food - and fresh produce grown on their own farms - into millions of nutritious, ready-to-eat meals each year. SecondBite rescued food and FareShare meals are shared free of charge with people facing hardship through a wide network of frontline charity partners around Australia.
