Volunteer Bookkeeper & Accountant
Help make a meaningful difference by supporting Harsha Foundation Limited behind the scenes. As our Volunteer Bookkeeper & Accountant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our financial records are accurate, organised, and up to date, allowing us to focus on delivering food relief and community support programs.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Recording income and expenses.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Managing receipts and financial documentation.
- Assisting with budgets and financial reporting.
- Preparing end-of-year financial statements and supporting annual reporting requirements.
- Working with the Board to ensure sound financial management and compliance.
- Providing guidance on financial processes where appropriate.
We’re looking for someone with bookkeeping or accounting experience who is organised, reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys using their skills to support a worthwhile cause. Experience with not-for-profit organisations is welcomed but not essential.
This is a flexible volunteer role that can largely be completed remotely and at times that suit you. You’ll be joining a passionate team committed to creating positive change in the community, and your contribution will directly support the ongoing growth and sustainability of HFL.
