Locations are divided by precincts including Perth CBD, Joondalup, Scarborough, Mount Claremont, Stirling, Whiteman Park, Champion Lakes and more.
The 2027 World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) are being held in Perth between 12th-21st March 2027 and is a large-scale international multi-sport event uniting over 8500 participants from more than 70 countries. Featuring over 65 sports across team and individual disciplines, the event provides an inclusive platform that accommodates participants of diverse skills and abilities. WPFG celebrates the dedication, skill, and camaraderie of personnel from Law Enforcement, Fire Services, Corrections, Paramedic and Emergency Services. This international event showcases Western Australia as a world-class destination for sport, culture, and community celebration of the Emergency Services.
What Volunteers can expect: • A welcoming and supportive experience: You will be supported with training, clear communication and on-site guidance to help you feel confident and prepared for your role. • Recognition and appreciation: For students who are volunteering, we will be able to provide you a transcript with your hours. Volunteers will also receive an official volunteer uniform, swagbag and a certificate of participation. • Meals, refreshments and breaks: Where required, volunteers will be provided with appropriate meals or refreshments during shifts along with access to the Volunteer Hub as a space to rest, connect and recharge. • Skills, experience and connections: You will gain hands-on experience in event delivery, customer service, logistics and teamwork- while meeting and interacting with new people and forming lasting connections with fellow volunteers from diverse backgrounds. • Memorable moments and shared pride: You'll play a direct role in creating an unforgettable experience for athletes and spectators alike, leaving the Games knowing you made a meaningful contribution to something bigger than yourself.
