Have a chat and a cuppa with lovely Betty in Cowes, Phillip Island

We are seeking a friendly volunteer to visit Betty and enrichen her life. Betty likes to listen to pod casts, talk back radio, music, reading and enjoys a good a chat. Her general knowledge is exceptional. She would really enjoy spending time with someone who loves a good chat and company and maybe a walk to the local precinct for a cuppa.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) supports isolated and lonely people who are receiving aged care services in an aged care home or through a home care package.

The program encourages volunteers to provide friendship and companionship to older people on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
