Redgum Justice is seeking passionate, values-driven individuals to join our Board as Volunteer Non-Executive Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills, experience and strategic insight to an organisation committed to advancing access to justice and positive social outcomes for vulnerable communities.
About Redgum Justice
Redgum Justice is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and communities experiencing disadvantage through advocacy, justice initiatives and community-focused services. We believe that everyone deserves fair access to support, opportunity and justice, regardless of their circumstances.
The Opportunity
As a Board Member, you will play a critical role in the governance, strategic direction and sustainability of the organisation. Working collaboratively with fellow directors and the executive team, you will help ensure Redgum Justice remains effective, accountable and positioned for long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of organisational strategy.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management and compliance practices.
- Support financial sustainability and organisational growth.
- Act as an ambassador for Redgum Justice within the community.
- Participate in Board meetings, committee work and strategic planning activities.
Skills and Experience
We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Legal, justice or community services
- Governance and risk
- Fundraising and philanthropy
- Human resources
- Marketing and communications
- Lived experience relevant to the communities we serve
Previous board experience is desirable but not essential. We encourage applications from emerging leaders who are committed to good governance and social impact.

Commitment
- Volunteer position
- Approximately 8–12 Board meetings per year (online and/or in person)
- Participation in committee meetings as required
