Boccia Australia is seeking a Volunteer Coach / Facilitator to support the delivery of Boccia sessions within the local community.
Boccia is a Paralympic sport for people with disabilities. It is inclusive, accessible, and can be adapted for participants with a wide range of physical abilities. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about inclusive sport and enjoys working with people.
About the Role
Facilitate 1–2 Boccia sessions per monthly
Sessions are approximately 1.5 - 2 hours each
Deliver fun, inclusive, and engaging sessions for participants
Support players of varying abilities, with assistance from support workers where required
Help grow Boccia participation at a grassroots level
This is a voluntary position, with the potential for paid opportunities in the future as programs grow.
Training & Support
No prior Boccia experience required
The successful applicant will be upskilled and supported by Boccia Australia
Training, resources, and ongoing mentoring provided
Ideal Candidate
Interested in inclusive sport, disability sport, or community programs
Confident communicating with a range of people
Reliable and enthusiastic
Coaching, teaching, allied health, sport, or support work experience is an advantage—but not essential
