Starlight Fundraising Launch - Help us bring some extra sparkle!

We are calling on a few local volunteer legends to help bring the buzz, the colour and the good vibes to Ocean Foods’ August fundraiser launch! 'Chippin' in for Sick Kids'

Throw on something purple and help create an atmosphere that’s as fun as it is meaningful. With a $12 Fish & Chip Deal (including a huge $10 donation to Starlight), Kids Hot Chips for $4 (100% donated), a DJ pumping the tunes, and plenty of purple spirit, it’s set to be an awesome afternoon! All money raised will be supporting seriously ill children and their families.

Volunteer Tasks

Get ready to be part of the magic of being a Starlight volunteer! Here’s how you’ll help spread joy:

Volunteers will help create a fun and energetic atmosphere at the Ocean Foods x Starlight campaign launch by wearing purple
Engaging with customers and showing their support for Starlight
The role is simply to be a friendly, enthusiastic presence, help build excitement around the event
Contribute to a vibrant and welcoming community atmosphere

Requirements to volunteer at this event

All volunteers must be 16+ years of age (Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
Great communication skills
Be able to be on your feet for the duration of your shift
A positive attitude willingness to embrace the Starlight SHINE values
