Join MS Plus as a volunteer in NSW: Support people living with multiple sclerosis volunteering at the MS Gong Ride.
MS Plus is seeking Event Village Assistants to support the MS Gong Ride on Sunday 1 November 2026. We're calling on enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join the team and help create a memorable and successful event.
We’re seeking volunteers for a variety of roles across our three event sites:
- Tempe Recreation Reserve, Tempe (80km Start Site)
- Preston Park, Engadine (53km Start Site)
- Thomas Dalton Park, Fairy Meadow (Finish Site)
Volunteer roles include Start and Finish Line Assistants, Cloak Room, Merchandise, Lunch Collection, Registration, Bib Collection, MS Retreat Assistants, and a range of other event support positions. Whether you're welcoming riders at the start, assisting participants throughout the day, or helping celebrate their achievement at the finish line, there's a role to suit a variety of interests and experience levels.
We’re looking for volunteers who:
Are positive and energetic
Able to stand or sit outdoors for periods of time
Are able to provide clear verbal communication to event participants
Are reliable
