Key duties

As a Community Engagement Assistant, you may:

• Assist with planning and delivering community events, festivals, markets, and family fun days.
• Welcome visitors and provide friendly customer service.
• Help with reception, administration, emails, and general office tasks.
• Support volunteer coordination and community programs.
• Assist with social media, Canva graphics, newsletters, and event promotion.
• Help organise resources and prepare activity spaces.
• Work alongside staff on exciting new community initiatives.
• Contribute ideas to improve programs and community engagement.
• Represent Bethania Community Centre at local events and activities.

Skills and experience

No previous experience is required.
