If you are a warm and friendly person over 18 years of age, who enjoys conversation and would like to brighten an older person's day, we would love to hear from you. A visit of around 1 hour weekly or fortnightly will have a meaningful impact on an older person who may be experiencing loneliness and is a chance for you to bring joy and companionship to those who need it most. The timing of visits can be flexible around you.
Through Baptistcare's Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme you will receive initial and ongoing training and support.
