Wini enjoys connecting with people and benefits greatly from regular social engagement. She can become a little restless, particularly in the afternoons, and a friendly visit provides reassurance, comfort and meaningful connection. Wini has a special love of animals, so volunteers who enjoy dogs or other friendly pets would be especially welcomed. Whether you're chatting, looking through pictures, enjoying a gentle walk around the garden or simply sitting together, your companionship will make a real difference. Volunteer Role

• Provide warm one-to-one companionship.
• Share conversation and meaningful social interaction.
• Spend time together in the garden or other quiet spaces.
• If appropriate, bring a friendly pet for a visit.

Commitment

• 1 hour per week or fortnight.
• Morning or afternoon visits available.
• Ongoing visits to build a meaningful friendship.

No previous experience is required. We provide training and ongoing support—you simply need patience, kindness and a genuine desire to make someone's day a little brighter.
