Tagalog Companionship Support

Pathways Community Care

Mental health is so vital to our wellbeing and you could make an impact just by being a friend to a lovely gentleman in aged care. Mathew is a sweet man who speaks Tagalog and would love to have a regular visitor.

Having a visitor greatly enhances the quality of life of people living in aged care who may be lonely and socially isolated.

If you would like to be a part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, which is funded by the Australian Government, please call Joanne on 9636 7400.

You must be able to visit for 1 hour, once a fortnight at a minimum.

Training and ongoing support is given to all volunteers.

A Police check is required however this is paid for by the scheme.
