HammondCare provides specialist palliative care at Neringah Hospital. We are passionate about enhancing quality of life for people living with a life-limiting illness, and our volunteers play an important role in helping patients and families feel supported, welcome, and cared for. ❤️

🕘 Volunteer Opportunity Details

• Thursdays
• 2-hour shift from 9:30am
• 📍 Neringah Hospital, 4–12 Neringah Avenue South, Wahroonga

🌟 As a HammondCare Volunteer, you'll receive:

• 📚 Training, including how to use the coffee machine
• 🤝 Ongoing support from a local HammondCare Volunteer Coordinator
• 💕 The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families
• 👥 The chance to work alongside a friendly and supportive volunteer team

☕ About the Role In this role, you'll work alongside another volunteer to prepare and serve coffees while providing a welcoming presence for patients, families, and visitors.

✅ Requirements Successful applicants will be required to complete a National Police Check, which HammondCare will organise and pay for.

Volunteers must:

• 🔹 Be aged 18 years or over
• 🔹 Be willing to meet immunisation requirements, including a serology blood test and recommended vaccinations
