The Australian Pet Welfare Foundation is a research charity that provides evidence-based solutions within the community to save the lives of pets and people. We are conducting a research project that is monitoring urban stray cats and wildlife around suburbs in Ipswich.
We are seeking a volunteer to help with the collection of camera traps in Goodna. You will be traveling around Goodna with one of our staff members in their vehicle to collect 50 camera traps on residential properties. The work typically starts around 8:30am and finish around 3:00pm (but may run longer).
You will need the ability to get to Goodna where our staff member will pick you up. You will also need the ability to sign digital volunteering forms and be briefed on the project prior to the fieldwork.
Camera trapping experience is not necessary, as you will be trained by our staff on the day.
