Fresh/Chiller volunteers needed - Foodbank Victoria (Altona)
Fresh Team Member | 9:00am – 2:30pm (Fridays especially)
Join our Fresh Team in the chilled warehouse area, packing fresh fruit, vegetables and refrigerated items ready for delivery to community agencies across Victoria. Full training is provided, and no prior experience is required.
Fridays are our busiest day at Foodbank Altona, as we prepare fresh food orders for distribution. To keep volunteers comfortable while working in the chiller, we provide warm Foodbank Victoria bomber jackets and jumpers.

Getting Here
We offer a free volunteer shuttle bus between Newport Station and our Altona warehouse for volunteers travelling by public transport. Please contact the Volunteering Team for more information about this service.
