Op Shop Volunteer – Drug ARM Capalaba

Drug ARM Capalaba is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our Op Shop team. Whether you're a retiree, a parent with school-aged children, a student, or a professional with a few hours to spare, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role: As an Op Shop Volunteer, you’ll be part of a passionate and fun team helping to raise vital funds for Drug ARM’s community services. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
- Providing friendly customer service
- Assisting with visual merchandising and shop displays
- Sorting and pricing donated goods
- Maintaining shop cleanliness and presentation
- Supporting general shop operations
No prior experience is necessary as we provide all on-the-job training. There are no minimum weekly hours, so you can volunteer as little or as often as suits your schedule.
Skills and Experience: We welcome volunteers from all walks of life. The following qualities will help you thrive in this role:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A friendly approach to colleagues and customers
- Reliability and a team-focused mindset
- An interest in retail, fashion, antiques, or your local community work is a bonus but not required!
About Drug ARM: Drug ARM is a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting individuals and families affected by alcohol and other drug issues, mental health challenges, and homelessness. Our Op Shops play a crucial role in funding our Street Outreach Services, which provide direct support to vulnerable people in the community.
