Guns N' Roses Fan to Visit an Older Gentleman 🤘🎸

We’re seeking a volunteer to make regular visits to a gentleman living in aged care in Avondale Heights.

He's a big fan of bands like Guns N' Roses and Deep Purple, and would really benefit from someone who shares his musical tastes.

I work for the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), a program that helps to reduce social isolation by connecting older people with friendly volunteers.

Visits are flexible (typically 1 hour per week) and we ask for a commitment of at least 6 months. Visits may involve chatting, listening to music, and going for gentle walks.

If you are friendly, reliable, and up for the challenge of supporting a person experiencing the ups and downs that come with ageing, disability and mental health, we'd love to hear from you (you'll have the chance to find out more, and opt-out if it's not the perfect role for you).

ACVVS is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus. MS Plus is a childsafe organisation with a Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy.
