TURKISH-Speaking Companion for a Lovely Lady in Templestowe

We are seeking a Turkish-speaking female volunteer to make regular visits to a lonely lady living in aged care in Templestowe.

She is Muslim, so we'd love a volunteer who can relate to her culturally and respect her faith. She also has mild dementia, so some understanding of the condition would help too.

Visits may involve chatting, watching Turkish TV together or going for a gentle walk.

Visits are flexible (typically 1 hour per week) and we ask for a commitment of at least 6 months.
