Commitment: Flexible – weekdays, a few hours per week
About the Role:
Do you enjoy good company, shared meals, and helping others feel part of a community? We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to support our Social Support Groups in Gippsland.
You might help drive a small bus to pick up clients, assist in the kitchen to prepare meals, or join in group activities and outings. Every chat, shared laugh, and helping hand makes a real difference for people who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with setting up and supporting social group sessions
- Help prepare and serve meals, tea, and coffee
- Chat with clients, play games, join outings, or simply share a meal together
- (Optional) Drive a 10-seater mini bus to help clients attend group sessions and outings

- (Optional) Holds a valid driver’s licence for those interested in driving the mini bus
No special qualifications are needed — just a big heart and a willingness to lend a hand.
